Graduation marks another end of a chapter in my life. After five amazing, fun, hard, stressful years I am finally graduating from college. I cannot believe where time has gone and how much I’ve learned and how much I’ve grown educationally and personally. I will be receiving my Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design and a minor in Business. I also will be receiving an event planning certificate. I cannot be more overjoyed of my accomplishments I have made at Northern Arizona University. The college life has been life changing and remarkable. I have been given so many opportunities while attending NAU and couldn’t be happier with the education I have received. I got to travel abroad to Spain for my interior design class and experience a different culture and world that is outside of this little town Flagstaff, AZ. Opportunities to network and gain experience and receive more education at the Design and Construction week at the conference center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has just been incredible to experience all that my professors, fellow classmates, and faculty provided for me here at NAU. Being involved with the event certificate with Hotel and Restaurant management has given me also a great opportunity to intern for Peak Events. I have been learning so much being an intern and working with the ladies at Peak Events. It has been a great learning experience and a great opportunity to work with such amazing mentors. I have many people to thank for making my college experience so memorable. Of course my parents, I couldn’t be more blessed and grateful for them to always be so encouraging and proud of the daughter they raised and by giving me the opportunity to further my education. I just cannot wait to graduate and it’s only in a couple more weeks! May 9th,, 2015 marks my new beginning and a new chapter. That which reminds me, I need to get back to work and finish up my many projects that need to be completed. If you ever are thinking of going back to school, trying to finish up at university, or have another plan in your life, I say go for it! Reach as far as your dreams shall go and never quit and never stop. Once you have completed something memorable and admirable you will be proud of yourself and proud of whom you are after you have completed your journey. I know I am.
