In the midst of the craziness, I found that I was smiling to myself. What made me so happy? Doing exactly what I came to college for. Three months ago I started packing for college. Not knowing where life would take me when I got to Flagstaff, I was excited, yet nervous for my new adventure.
Now, looking back at Oktoberfest, I see how much I really love event planning. Seeing how much work and dedication Jen, Debbi, and the rest of the crew put into that one day blows my mind. From the start to the very end, everyone puts out so much effort to make other people happy. That’s why we do event planning, isn’t it?
My goal is to put a smile on everyone’s face, and by doing event planning that is exactly what we are doing. The start of someone’s experience at Oktoberfest is at the ticket booth, where I was stationed. I greeted so many smiling faces, and tried to excite people for the fun they were about to experience.
Oktoberfest secured my wants for becoming an event planner. I am so excited to work more with Peak Events in the months to come. We are here to give you a great time, and with Oktoberfest, we definitely succeeded.
