Well after several long months of waiting, I found out that I landed an internship with none other than GenArts! This awesome company showcases emerging talent in L.A. and New York in the entertainment and fashion industries! Musicians, Actors, Fashion Designers, Photographers and Artists are featured at some amazing events in the attempt to get them recognized and get their start in the industry! I am so excited to be working for a company with such an amazing mission! I will be living on the UCLA campus this summer for 8 weeks and will be working full-time for this amazing company. I hope that I can learn as much as I can and gain lots of experience, maybe even land a full time job for graduation! This company seems like a great fit for me and the fact that I was their first choice out of the other individuals interviewed really made me feel spectacular. I am really excited and I hope that this experience exceeds my expectations.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to come back in the fall and help Debbi and Jennifer at Peak Events with the plans for the fast approaching Oktoberfest! It means so much to be to still be a valued part of their team and I love all the work I get to do for them!
