Today is going to be a hard and really great day. I get to try and finish the music lineup for the 1st Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews. It’s hard because I have a Champagne wish list on a craft beer budget! Yes, I said Craft Beer for a reason. My budget isn’t rock bottom, so I’m still hoping to bring in a National Act, but it’s low enough I have to really be looking. We have some great acts here in AZ – the Sugar Thieves, Chuck Hall, Carvin Jones, Sir Harrison, and they are all contacted and we’re waiting to hear back. But, the truth is, I can’t bring in the big acts that everyone knows and wants to see! Well, at least not YET! I’m committed to bringing in some great Blues over the following years, but as everyone keeps telling me – start small (I hate that saying). So, have patience and come out and play with us at Flagstaff Blues and Brews on June 29th and in the meantime – Enjoy some Blues by BB King and Eric Clapton.
