Star Party was INCREDIBLE! The planning for this event for interns was minimal, so arriving at the event really put it all into perspective for me. I got to see the difference between planning and running our own event verses planning an event for someone else and allowing them to run the majority of it. It was also so cool to be apart of an event that the entire community was apart of. Everyone who attended seemed so appreciative of what we had available for them! I also really enjoyed interacting with the scientists and seeing the event from their perspective. Our outlook on the experience was simultaneously the same and incredibly different. I’m glad I got to be there.
