I participated in the star party last year and I was super excited to work at it again this year. I never knew about the star party before for working with Peak Events, but it is honestly a super fun event that I love to work at. This is event is a fun, free, and three day event located in beautiful Buffalo Park. This event includes free flashlights that were on Star Party key chains that were given to each guest as they came into the event. There were around 30- 35 telescopes that were set about and all looked at different stars or planets. We had less telescopes the first night because it was raining all day and we also had a low number of attendance that night. After Thursday night, or attendance went up significantly due to our clear skies. Something new that we had this year was a coffee truck that a lot of our guests enjoyed throughout the night. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to work at this event this year. I look forward to possibly having the opportunity next year to attend the Star Party rather than working it!
