The Dark Sky Party was a blast for me! I personally love learning about astronomy! It’s absolutely fascinating! Even though I didn’t get much personal time to go hopping from telescope to telescope I still had a great time seeing how many people actually showed up to learn about the stars. Setting up and breaking down for the event really wasn’t a hard task, and I also had the pleasure of giving guests rides to the event and back to their cars! Having all of the little conversations about the Dark Sky party with all of the guests really made me realize how cool Flagstaff really is and how proud I am to be from a place that puts on events just to celebrate the surrounding nature we live in. Overall the Dark Sky Party was a great experience!
