The 4th Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews is excited to announce their lineup for the 2016 Festival!
Nestled next to Mount Elden and in the Shadow of the San Francisco Peaks, the Flagstaff Blues and Brews is a family friendly festival that features 7 bands, unique food vendors, arts and crafts, and a great kid’s area. At 7,000 feet, and surrounded by the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff Blues and Brews was named one of the 10 most beautiful Blues Festivals in the world by ????? When the rest of the southwest is suffering through above 100 degree temperatures, Flagstaff boasts comfortable 80s.
This year’s festival will feature a larger and more diverse beer portfolio, large shade areas, an exceptional VIP, kid’s area full of crafts, bounce houses and fun, as well as a stage full of the hottest blues this side of Chicago!
Headlining the 2016 festival is Sugaray Rayford Band, currently nominated for 4 Blues Music Awards – the prestigious BB King Entertainer of the Year award, Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Blues Album of the year and Song of the Year.
2014 Blues Music Award Winner Danielle Nicole will bring to the stage a voice that made Trampled Under Foot a household name. Since the disbanding of TUF, Danielle formed her band and released Wolf Den to critical acclaim, so expect to be blown away with her powerful and distinct voice.
With a collective 20 Maple Blues Awards, two Canadian Independent Music Awards, a Blues Music Award (USA), and 2 JUNO nominations, as well as taking home the coveted hardware in 2012, this is MonkeyJunk’s first Arizona performance! This band is taking the US Blues Festivals by storm and we’re excited to have them play on our stage.
