Star Party was an event unlike anything that I have ever been to before. This was the first event that I ever did with Peak Events which made me both scared and excited. I didn’t know what to expect going into this event, but by the end of it I was so excited to start my journey with Peak Events.
This event was the perfect environment for the people of Flagstaff. Walking into the event you were given a red flashlight and directed down a long path to the main event. There were 15-30 telescopes set up displaying all different things from planets to stars to even galaxies. It was so exciting to see all the people who came and all of the children who were so amazed by what they just saw. Also, the best part about this event was that it was totally free to the public. I think this should be an event that Flagstaff should have every year because it is something that is unique to Flagstaff and it brings the community together.
I loved having the opportunity to work this event and I felt it was a great way for me to start my internship with Peak Event. Working for Peak events so far has taught me things that I didn’t already know about events and it showed me that events is the path that I want to take in my life.
