Blues and brews was quite a great experience as a first timer in the event field. It really takes a lot of dedication to put on a great event such as the Blues and Brews. At first I did not really know what to expect walking into event planning industry, but as my first event came to an end I realize that it takes a lot of work and a lot of patients!
Working the Blues and Brews opened my eyes to all sorts of possibilities. It was a huge turn out and I got to work with a lot of wonderful people including volunteers! My favorite part of the event was getting to see it all come to life, especially watching this little semi trailer turn into this HUGE stage! Wow was that a sight to see.
As being the one to greet everyone at the entrance, I got to meet a lot of interesting people. I love to interact with people, so I felt that this was a great position for me to be at.
