35 days out!   Holy cow or as J. Michael Harter would say – Holy Cowgirl! This summer has gone by so fast and we’re so close to Flagstaff’s First Country Music Festival that most of the time I don’t know if I’m coming or going! What I do know is that the excitement is building for Mountain Country Music Festival, and I’m waking up every morning at 3:33 am thinking of one more thing to add to the TO DO list!   My 3:33 am wakeup call came right on schedule and so today, I got up and hit the office.   I needed to make sure things were on track.   Sponsors – check, Marketing – Jen is working too hard, but she’s got it covered and then some, Tickets – on sale and selling at www.FlagstaffCountry.com, Beer – Budweiser and some other really cool brews and my personal favorite – WINE, Kid’s area – can you say pony rides and a petting zoo? – that’s all set and good to go, Nonprofit – UNREAL!!   These guys with the Military Order of the Purple Heart are AMAZING!   Volunteers – starting to sign up, vendors – could use more, but they’re always last minute, so add them to the list: THINGS THAT STRESS ME OUT, although we have food vendors covered – so we can all eat.  Insurance – check, security – good ol Arizona Rangers, porta potties – covered, tents, fencing and rentals – Jen’s on top of it! Parking – onsite, shuttles – working on them, staff – everyone’s on board, Lineup – FANTASTIC, Holy Cowgirl!   We’re better off than I thought!   Once I listed it all out – I looked at everything and realized I needed to relax and believe.
