Hoist a beer stein, buy a chicken hat, eat amazing food, and drink lots of beer. You are pretty much guaranteed to have a good time! Then throw in the beautiful fall weather and you really could not go wrong with the Flagstaff Oktoberfest.
This was the 5th annual Flagstaff Oktoberfest on Oktober 5th. The entry was five dollars and the beer was five dollars (are you sensing a theme here?) As an intern for Peak Events I was able to see everything there is to see at the festival starting at 11:00am when the first keg was tapped and ending at 8:00pm with strangers standing together under heaters to see buckit and keep warm. This is the first Oktoberfest I have ever attended and I can tell you already it is the best! I had the opportunity to take part in so many aspects of the festival and I enjoyed them all. I am so lucky to be in an internship where I get to be involved in events like this that raise money for a great group like the Flagstaff Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team.
