Working with Peak Events was such an adventure this summer! Planning a first year event like Flagstaff Blues and Brews was a bit challenging, but also very exciting. I was involved in this event and felt the need and pressure for it to be successful. I worked with plenty of business in town and local people of Flagstaff. I experienced ups and downs of receiving donations or being rejected. Working the day of event was exhausting and exhilarating, I was running (or should I say driving) around the event making sure everyone was having a good time. All in all it seemed like everyone had a fabulous time and I felt all my work had paid off!
I only had a little bit of planning with Oktoberfest and you can see my work as I designed the Oktoberfest advertising, but it came to a bitter sweet ending. I took a leap of faith and am now the new Banquet & Events Manager at Flagstaff Ranch. I learned so much from Jennifer and Debbi Grogan and now it’s time to put my knowledge to the test. As always, they can count on me for anything they need and I know they will always be there when I need help!
