Grand Canyon Weddings are stunning!

But they also come with their own set of issues that you might not know exist. For instance, because it’s a national park, you can’t just run out and get something you may have forgotten. There are no large grocery stores, or walmarts around. Parking is a HUGE issue, it is very limited, even at the hotels, so you need to plan for that, or know someone who can help you with it, like us! Almost everything for your wedding needs to be brought in. If you want to get married outside at an offsite location, other than a hotel, you’ll have to rent tables and chairs, you will also need a permit from the park service in order to get married and if anything blows into the canyon, like trash or heaven forbid a piece of rental equipment like a chair, you will be responsible for paying the park service to get it out.
Now we are not trying to discourage you from a Grand Canyon wedding but we do think you should have a wedding planner who knows the ins and outs of the Grand Canyon. Peak Events has been in the event and wedding planning business since 2001. Our staff has grown up in Arizona and knows the Grand Canyon extremely well. So please, if you are going to have a wedding at the Grand Canyon, let us help you make your day stress free and fabulous!
