In September I did a wedding for a dear friend in Las Vegas at the beautiful Loews Hotel at Lake Las Vegas. Sandy and Robby had the most beautiful weather and a lake side ceremony. All the groomsmen (even the little ring bearers) wore black and white converse shoes, SO CUTE! Sandy and Robby chose chocolate and ivory as their colors; this was perfect as this couple is very natural and down to earth!
The room they had the reception in was called the Baraka room. Dropping from the ceiling were large iron inter-lit stars, the four sided columns were a perfect ledge for votive candles.
The room décor was elegant and classy with centerpieces of stargazer lilies, ivory roses, white hydrangea, white stock, fillers and greenery. The centerpieces were alternating in tall and short, the tall centerpieces featured inverted glass vases with intertwinded curly willow. Adorning each table centerpiece were votive candles and floating candles, giving the room a romantic glow.
The bridal cake and groom’s cake. The bridal cake was a traditional white square cake with a touch of floral, accenting the side of the cake. The groom’s cake was exceptionally special for the bride and groom. This is a mold of their beloved bulldog Bertha, the best part is that no one was allowed to cut the cake per the groom!
The couple went with a great favor idea, with their wedding being so close to October they went with a season favorite. Carmel and chocolate covered apples, with a matching bride and groom apple!!
What a FUN and Creative wedding!
Love,
Christina
