My internship with Peak Events has been very enjoyable and has improved my education on event planning tremendously. Helping with the Flagstaff Blues and Brews festival is something I would do again in a heart beat. This was my first experience with event planning and I learned all the in’s and out’s. It takes a huge amount of organization, planning, preparation and lots of little detail.
The days before the event were my favorite part. Arriving on site early in the morning and not leaving until the sky is dark shows how much time and energy goes into an event. Jennifer and Debbi strive to make the event most enjoyable for their guests and that is what I loved most. I believed they succeeded in that part as well. The hustle, bustle and craziness are all part of the fun. The day of the festival we couldn’t have asked for better weather and volunteers. Not to mention the band line up was amazing!
