It was a warm Saturday at the driving range for a beautiful country music festival. The smell of food and beer lingered throughout the location. As people walked in with country boots and cowboy hats I knew it was going to be something special. This was Flagstaff’s first Country music festival and I knew it was going to be a great success because people have been waiting for something like this for a long time. I saw people singing and dancing, kids running around and dogs playing fetch. Everyone was having a great time with family and friends. I saw the smile on people faces the excitement they had that there was a country music festival. With all the long hours put in setting up, taking down and making sure everything ran smoothly. Overall it was a great festival that many people in flagstaff are looking forward to for years to come.
